Former Stan State distance runner, Medhane Woldu, qualified for the Olympic Trials in the marathon, with his 18th place finish at the California International Marathon that was held in Sacramento this Sunday, December 3. Woldu ran a 2:17.18 for a 5:14 pace per mile. The marathon for the Olympic Trials will be February 3, 2024, in Orlando, Fla.
